We started Talent Maps with a simple goal in mind: to create a platform that makes it easy for great people to connect with great companies who share their interests and passions. Our journey has been a long and winding one, but we're proud of what we've accomplished so far.

TalentMaps was founded by Peter Learn and Ryan Yurich, long-time professional recruiters and trusted partners who have worked side by side for over 20 years.

Peter and Ryan began their careers together as recruiters and, over the past two decades, have built a reputation based on integrity, results, and long-term relationships. Their shared experience on both the candidate and client side of recruitment led them to create TalentMaps — a platform designed to put professionals first, keep them informed, and align opportunities with their personal goals and needs.

At the core of TalentMaps is confidentiality and respect. Candidate information remains private and protected at all times. Companies are only able to view a candidate’s skill set and career interests, and any request to connect must be approved by the candidate before an introduction is made.

Peter Learn – Director of Recruitment

Peter Learn, fluently bilingual, brings over 20 years of recruitment experience across multiple industries. As Director of Recruitment, Peter is responsible for training, mentoring, and overseeing the TalentMaps recruitment team.

Peter ensures that every candidate receives the highest level of service, care, and attention. His focus is on understanding individual career goals, accurately positioning talent in the market, and maintaining the professionalism and trust that candidates expect throughout the recruitment process.

Ryan Yurich – Director of Business Development

Ryan Yurich, also fluently bilingual, has over 20 years of experience in recruitment and business development. As Director of Business Development, Ryan leads and supports TalentMaps’ account management team.

Ryan works closely with client organizations to understand their hiring needs, company culture, and long-term objectives. He ensures that TalentMaps delivers recruitment solutions that are thoughtful, effective, and aligned with each client’s expectations — building partnerships that value experience, loyalty, and quality work.

Together, Peter and Ryan created TalentMaps to redefine how professionals and companies connect — with clarity, respect, and a shared understanding of true value.
